Hartfelt Impressions Photography

A good friend of mine, Peggy Hart, whom I worked with back in the mid to late 90’s (in the Metro, DC region) at a commercial door and hardware distributor, has recently started a photography outfit based out of  Hickory, North Carolina where she now resides with her husband Paul.  She specializes in outdoor shots, specifically birds and landscapes, however she’ll do photos on request if you have something special that you’re looking for.

Of course being a life long musician, she knew I had an obsession for instruments, specifically guitars, acoustic or electric.  So one day out of the blue, Peggy sent me some incredible photos of her husband Paul’s guitars for me to check out.  Paul and I are also good friends; having worked together at the same company with Peggy.  The shots of Paul’s guitars were just amazing, very artistic in nature, yet clear n’ clean like digital imaging or something.  I’m not a photographer so please excuse my adjectives.

These photographs are just as good (maybe better!) as any I have seen in all of the Guitar magazines I regularly read.  Peggy has really worked hard to develop her talent, and it shows.  I am hoping that I can talk her into a visit one of these days so that she can take some photographs of my entire collection.  In the meantime, I will be picking her brain for any tips she can give us on taking them ourselves.
