Why Have I Started a Blog ?

Back in the day, I was a professional musician.  When I wasn't performing, I was rehearsing with the band, practicing on my own or doing something that would further my career as a musician. 

Fast-forward a bit;  three wonderful children in three years brought an inability to travel and a necessity for a steady income.  Piece by piece the equipment was either sold or given away and my dreams of a career as a professional musician went away too.


Fast-forward several more years, the kids are now grown and gone and my better half and I find ourselves with time free to devote to our passions.  For a while now I've been rebuilding my guitar collection as I regain my chops and I have begun to think about the possibility of performing again in a small way; this time for fun. 


So that's where I find myself now as I start this blog.  I intend for it to document my journey as I use it to find my place in a community of like minded people.  I hope you join me in my journey back.
