Paul Reed Smith - SE 245

If you haven’t played one of Paul Reed Smith’s NEW SE 245 Model electric guitars, you need to get to your local guitar shop / hangout and play one.  I happen to own a PRS Starla and just recently I purchased a SE Singlecut (which is one hot guitar for such an incredible price) and I love both of them.  They play so well with the ‘wide fat’ neck and the SE 245 is outfitted with the same neck type.

It has a thicker body style than the SE Singlecut which gives it the feel of a Gibson Les Paul and the pick-ups are sweet sounding yet with an edge when you need that hotter-than-hell bite in your solo.

With a voice that is classic, eminently recordable and gig ready, the SE 245 is perfect for traditional single-cutaway players. The 24.5" scale length makes this instrument instantly comfortable to players who grew up using short scale guitars. Volume and tone controls for each pickup, a 3-way toggle and bird inlays are all standard appointments.

Go to your local Guitar Center to test out one of the PRS SE 245’s or any one of the many other SE models; they are all very competitively priced and I’m sure now that we’re starting into the Christmas Holiday Season, there will be sales to be had.  If I hadn't just purchased a few guitars myself, I’d be looking to pick up an SE 245 in the Tobacco Sunburst; WOW what a beautiful ax.  (See photo above)

Thanksgiving is right around the corner so for those of you who I miss before the greatest holiday on earth, HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and your family !!  Be safe if you will be traveling during the holiday break.  We will be, but not until {black} Friday.

Until next time, “Same Guitar Place; Same Guitar Channel . !”
